About Jamey EldridgeBorn and raised in Cookeville, Tennessee, Jamey has lived in Birmingham since 2003. He attended Cumberland University on a tennis scholarship and received his Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration. While in college he was a four year letterman for the tennis team and was elected captain his junior and senior years. A member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, he received his Masters of Science in Organizational Management from Cumberland University. He has served his alma mater on its Alumni Board and was elected President of the Board from 2010-2012.
Active in the community, Jamey has served as a youth basketball coach in the Mountain Brook Athletics Program and as coach in the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club recreational program. He is an active member of the Cathederal Church of the Advent. Jamey is also actively involved in the Cherokee Bend Elementary Cub Scout Pack 86 both as a parent of Scouts and as a volunteer.
Jamey is married to attorney Katy Eldridge and they have two boys, Howie and Barrett. Katy attended Centre College and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. She attended Washington and Lee School of Law and is a shareholder with Maynard, Cooper, and Gale. She is actively involved with Symphony 30 and the Junior League of Birmingham. Both children attend school at Cherokee Bend Elementary in Mountain Brook and are involved with basketball and tennis in the Mountain Brook Athletics program, Cherokee Bend Cub Scouts Pack 86 as well as the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club.
He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Birmingham Association of Realtors, and also holds the distinction of being Relocation Certified. Jamey’s knowledge, experience, and 10 years of real estate experience has helped his clients with buying and selling homes in Mountain Brook, Homewood, Vestavia Hills, Forest Park, Redmont and several other metro Birmingham locations.
