About Glenda McPherson

Glenda Plunkett McPherson is married to James Hood McPherson, Jr. They have two children—Jimmy McPherson and Mary Glen Carlton and five grandchildren.

Selling Real Estate for 30years—29 years with Mary Roebuck as partner. They have been agents with Johnson, Rast & Hayes, Ray & Co. Realty South, and now Ray & Poynor. She is a member of local, state and National Real Estate organizations and ha earned her GRI and CRS Real Estate designations.

Grew up in Cullman County and graduated from Hanceville High School. She received a BS degree from Auburn University. While at Auburn she was Vice President of the School of Home Economics, President of Chi Omega Sorority, and member of the yearbook staff.

Presently, she is an active member of Canterbury United Methodist Church. She has served on numerous committees and Chairperson of the Church Council, Finance Committee and Child Development Center. Presently working with the Knits Wits ministry and active in the United Methodist Women.

Hobbies include any type of handwork but especially smocking, knitting and French hand sewing.

Over the past 30 years, she and Mary have worked with many local clients and those moving to Birmingham. They have sold houses that ranged from $90,000 to $2,000,000 and are looking forward to continuing with their present clients and new ones.
