They have two children. Son, R. Rhett Owens married to Gunter Davis Owens, one grandchild, Helen Benedict Owens. Daughter, Milner Owens Staub married to Joseph Martin Staub. She has sold real estate in the Birmingham area for 20 years and is a member of The Club of Excellence Graduated from Mountain Brook High School BA from University of Alabama in Art History Member of the Episcopal Church Tri Delta Alumni Two Bible study groups Cha Cha Dance Club Her hobbies include: Spending time with her family, working out, Lunch group with friends, Travel.
