Upon my mother’s death in May 2010, Robin Kidd, a church friend of my mother’s, helped us sell Mom’s garden home on Cahaba Circle in Cahaba Heights/ Vestavia Hills in in about a month’s time for right at the appraised value, as appraisal values were declining in that neighborhood. We have seen houses sit for too long. Robin’s help arranging minor repairs and her graceful management of the whole process was truly helpful in a very sad time for our family. I appreciate the hard work, candor, and sensitivity both Mike and Robin showed during these sales. My only regret is that I do not have more houses to sell - I actually felt guilty because there were so many talented people I know, such as Ann Thomas, who know the Mountain Brook market well, working in that office. |
